Designer

The designer prepares projects of KNX and related system nodes and electrical panels according to the specifics of the object and the package chosen by the client. This includes drawing up diagrams of the electrical panel and the "smart" part (KNX, DALI, other buses), selecting components (actuators, sensors, controllers, power supplies) according to the size and functions of the object, as well as finding technical solutions for situations that the standard package does not provide for (for example, atypical house layout, additional integration with a solar power plant, EV charging station or existing house infrastructure).

The work also includes communicating with the installation team during the project implementation — answering questions, refining solutions on site as new circumstances emerge, and, if necessary, participating in inspections of the object together with the client or the installation team, so that the project is adapted to the real conditions of the object, and not just to the drawing.

Knowledge of electrical installation design is expected and, preferably, experience with KNX or similar automation systems (DALI, Modbus, Home Assistant integrations). The ability to independently read construction/architectural drawings and adapt them to the electrical and automation project is important, as well as knowledge of CAD or specialized design software (e.g. ETS for KNX design) or a willingness to learn it quickly. The ability to independently search for and evaluate technical alternatives is valued when a standard solution is not suitable for the object.
