Mediafon Technology develops modern cybersecurity, IT and TELCO solutions. We value a good atmosphere, a common goal, independence and initiative. We are currently expanding our activities and are inviting an experienced Testing specialist - QA Engineer to join the team.
Main responsibilities:
- Testing complex IT systems and ensuring the quality of solutions used globally.
- Creating, optimizing and executing manual and automated test scripts.
- Designing and maintaining test strategies and test architectures.
- Identifying, analyzing and managing defects, providing advice to the team on optimal solutions.
- Active cooperation with developers, analysts, DevOps and project management teams.
- Mentoring junior team members and increasing the maturity of testing processes.
- Initiating good QA practices and implementing test automation solutions.
Competencies and requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in testing (manual and automated).
- Strong knowledge of test management and project management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Experience in creating and maintaining detailed test scripts, test suites, regression packages.
- Practice working with API testing (Postman, Swagger, REST, SOAP).
- Ability to analyze system performance, identify risks and propose solutions.
- Experience working with CI/CD environments - integrating tests into pipelines.
- Responsibility, systematic and analytical thinking, ability to make independent decisions.
- Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
Advantages (not necessary, but we will consider it a big advantage):
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, etc.).
- Basics of JavaScript / TypeScript or other programming languages.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Experience in telco, billing or similar complex systems.
- Experience in creating or improving QA processes.
