THE ROLE: QC ENGINEER (Quality control engineer)
We are looking for a QC Engineer to join our team in Vilnius. In this role, you won't be just a small cog in a massive machine; you will be a key player in a fast-paced environment where every contribution matters.
Each laser we manufacture goes through a final Quality Control (QC) stage, where it is calibrated and validated under controlled environmental conditions.
In this role, you will work with advanced laser systems, running calibration processes, monitoring their behavior, and ensuring they meet performance requirements. Many of these processes take several hours and are partially automated, meaning your role is to initiate, supervise, and intervene when needed.
Because systems run continuously, the role naturally involves flexible working hours, including evenings and occasional weekend check-ins. In return, you gain a high level of autonomy and the opportunity to build strong practical expertise in laser systems and QC processes.

IN THIS POSITION, YOU'LL
- Perform laser calibration under varying environmental conditions (e.g., temperature-controlled chambers).
- Monitor and manage long-running test cycles (8 - 12+ hours).
- Work with climate chambers and multiple devices in parallel.
- Connect remotely to internal systems and execute measurements.
- Analyze results and select optimal laser parameters.
- Prepare QC reports and documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues when systems fail or behave unexpectedly.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and production teams.
ABOUT YOU
- Background: Degree or ongoing studies in Physics, Photonics, Electronics, or a related technical field
- Mindset: Strong problem-solving attitude and curiosity; Attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility; Interest in understanding how systems behave under different conditions
- Technical profile: Comfortable working with software tools and technical systems; Able to identify and troubleshoot issues (even without deep programming); Basic understanding of physical principles (laser knowledge is a strong plus)
- Independence: Able to manage your time and workload in a flexible schedule; Comfortable working partially remotely
- Communication: good written and spoken English
- Experience: Not mandatory - we are open to junior candidates

2500 - 2800 EUR gross. The final offer will depend on your specific competencies and professional experience.
