QUALITY, HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER (QHS MANAGER)

Our client - MAAS Aviation - is a leading international aircraft painting company, renowned for its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and delivering exceptional quality. With operations across the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, and Lithuania, MAAS is dedicated to upholding the highest standards in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. And now they are seeking a Quality, Health and Safety manager ('QHS manager') to join their Kaunas team.

• experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) in aviation or manufacturing environments (ISO 9001, EN 9100);
• hands-on experience with audits, compliance assurance, and non-conformance management;
• ability to read and work with technical documentation (drawings, work instructions);
• understanding of health & safety and risk management principles;
• analytical mindset with the ability to drive process improvements (KPIs, data analysis);
• strong collaboration and communication skills when working with teams and external stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience in aviation or with painting / production processes

Work location: Karmėlava, Kaunas district, Lithuania.

• Quality Management - lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with aviation standards (ISO 9001, EN 9100);
• Quality Assurance & Compliance - ensure compliance with aviation regulations, internal policies, and customer requirements through audits and quality control processes;
• Health & Safety Leadership - drive a strong health & safety culture, including risk assessments, incident analysis, and implementation of preventive measures;
• Continuous Improvement - lead continuous improvement initiatives using data, KPIs, and cross-team collaboration to enhance quality and operational performance.
