Nature of work
- Configuration, tuning and testing of relay protection and automation (hereinafter referred to as RAA) devices in electrical substations and industrial facilities.
- Verification of RAA diagrams, making necessary changes.
- Equipment maintenance, parameterization, tuning, measurements, engineering decision-making.
Employee requirements
- Higher/advanced education in automation, electrical engineering, power engineering (may be a 4th year/master's student).
- Knowledge of the principles of operation of RAA (relay protection and automation).
- MS Office skills, engineering thinking, creativity, initiative, ability to work independently, diligence, responsibility.
- Technical English language skills (technical literature in English).
- Driver's license (Cat. B).
Advantages:
- Similar work experience (in the field of relay protection and automation tuning or design).
- Skills in working with Omicron test benches.
- 1 - 2 years of work experience in engineer or designer positions.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment installation and operation rules.
- Knowledge of data transfer protocols between RAA and TSPE.
- Experience in testing and tuning RAA secondary circuits.
- Experience in testing measuring transformers (ST/IT).
- Experience in working with microprocessor-based RAA equipment and their software from SIEMENS, ABB, GENERAL ELECTRIC and other manufacturers, knowledge of the principles of operation and selection of these devices.
- Experience in the design, maintenance and operation of 330kV, 110 kV and lower voltage relay protection and automation devices.
