Nature of work:
- perform maintenance, repair and inspection of aircraft wheels and brake components according to approved procedures;
- perform work in accordance with EASA/FAA Part-145 requirements, manufacturers' technical documentation and internal procedures;
- ensure high-quality and timely performance of assigned work;
- identify and resolve technical problems within the scope of their competence;
- complete technical documentation and ensure its accuracy;
- comply with aviation safety, quality and occupational health and safety requirements;
- cooperate with quality, planning, logistics and other technical departments;
- contribute to work process improvement initiatives and share professional experience with colleagues;
- take care of the order and proper condition of the tools used and the workplace.
Employee requirements:
- higher or higher technical education;
- experience in the field of aircraft wheel and brake maintenance or repair;
- ability to work according to technical documentation and established procedures;
- good knowledge of English (for reading and understanding technical documentation);
- responsibility, diligence and orientation towards quality and safety;
- ability to work in a team and plan one's work effectively;
- knowledge of the EASA Part-145 environment is an advantage;
- certificates or qualifications in the field of wheels and brakes are an advantage.
