Nature of work
- Plan, organize and coordinate VMU events, ensuring their smooth running and high quality.
- Create and improve event formats for the VMU community, students and external audiences.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with event partners, performers and service providers.
- Coordinate the technical implementation of events (sound, lighting, scenography, logistics).
- Represent and publicly present events as needed.
- Cooperate with VMU departments and external partners (colleagues, students, academic community and suppliers).
- Resolve organizational issues during events.
- Manage event documentation and contribute to budget planning and administration.
Requirements
- Higher or higher education.
- At least 2 years of experience in the field of event organization.
- Good knowledge of event planning and coordination processes.
- Creativity and ability to propose and implement innovative, yet practically implementable event solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with different audiences (colleagues, students, academic community, partners and service providers).
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Ability to contribute to the implementation of the department's common goals, effectively cooperating with other departments and providing assistance in the implementation of activities organized in the department.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent Lithuanian language skills, English - at least B2 level.
- MS Office skills.
- Responsibility, accuracy, ability to work in a dynamic environment.
