Nature of work

JOB FUNCTIONS OF THE REGIONAL LANDFILL MANAGER

  • organizes and controls the technically sound operation and repair of the Regional Landfill's energy systems, mechanisms and equipment, timely preventive inspections and high-quality performance of work:
  • ensures uninterrupted operation of the landfill maintained at the established time, in accordance with the rules for landfill operation and waste management;
  • organizes the prompt elimination of malfunctions;
  • takes care of the maintenance of technical accounting and documentation of the Regional Landfill;
  • organizes the provision of the Regional Landfill's employees with individual and collective safety equipment, work footwear and clothing;
  • controls the quality of work of subordinate employees, how the assigned tasks are performed, how the waste brought in is taxed, controls the deposit of money into the cash register and the submission of payment documents to customers;
  • ensures that there are no unauthorized persons on the territory of the Regional Landfill;
  • ensures the discipline and order of the Regional Landfill's employees;
  • submits applications for the acquisition of equipment and materials;
  • informs the Company's Director, Deputy Director about any problems that interfere with the normal work of the department;
  • carries out the instructions of the Company's Director, Deputy Director, and other non-permanent assignments in order to achieve the Company's strategic goals.
  • The Regional Landfill Manager is responsible for: the proper performance of the job functions specified in the job description; the proper use and storage of entrusted material assets; compliance with legal acts regulating the protection of personal data; preservation of confidential information.

Employee requirements

  • have a higher education or equivalent;
  • have at least 1 year of managerial experience;
  • know and understand the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating waste management;
  • be able to work with the Microsoft Office software package;
  • be able to collect, manage and summarize information;
  • be able to independently plan their activities.
