- Preparing food according to a pre-established schedule;
- Receiving and properly storing food products;

Employee requirements
- Professional qualification as a chef or relevant experience in food production, if permitted for the specific position.
- Knowledge of hygiene knowledge and food handling requirements.
- Ability to follow Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and self-control procedures applied in the institution.
- Ability to work according to an approved menu and technological cards.
- Ability to prepare food of various consistencies, including soft, mashed or easily chewable food, when required by residents.
- Responsibility, neatness and diligence.
- Ability to comply with the requirements for storage of raw materials, temperatures, labeling and traceability.
- Ability to work with kitchen equipment and use it safely.
- Compliance with occupational safety, fire safety and employee hygiene requirements.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
