AB "Achema" is currently inviting a RELAY PROTECTION TECHNICIAN to join us, who would contribute to the maintenance of the electrical system.

Main responsibilities:
- Maintain, inspect, install, test and adjust relay protection and automation devices of 6 kV, 12 kV, 110 kV electrical installations, relay protection terminals;
- Fill in technical documentation;
- Perform replacement, adjustment, maintenance, documentation management and defect elimination of electricity metering devices;
- Maintain and inspect control devices of territory lighting networks, perform their repairs;
- Maintain, inspect, install, test and adjust fire alarm circuits, fire extinguishing station control and alarm circuits;
- Perform technical inspection of accumulator batteries;
- Perform relay protection settings belonging to the workshop, troubleshoot relay protection and automation circuits;
- Maintain relay protection test stands and other related equipment.
For a successful start you will need:
- Electrical education (preferably higher or higher);
- VK electrical safety qualification certificate;
- Be able to read and follow RAA diagrams, technical drawings and instructions for use of RAA devices;
- Experience in combining microprocessor RAA devices from SIEMENS, ABB and other manufacturers with their software, knowledge of the operating principles of these devices is an advantage;
- Know the basics of MS Word, MS Excel;
- Diligence, responsibility, technical thinking.
- Specialized program – “application program package”, “relay protection testing” – we train;
- Specialized program – telemechanics – we train;
- The employee must not have restrictions on working in electrical devices operating up to 110 kV, performing work at height.
