REPAIR WORKS AND FACILITY MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

We are looking for an independent, technically savvy and organized person to take care of organizing the repair work and technical maintenance of several real estate objects.

We are not looking for a construction manager, but a practical person who is able to find the right craftsmen, organize their work, control prices and quality, and ensure that the work is completed on time and at a reasonable price.

Your responsibilities:

• Organize various repair works in several real estate objects.
• Independently search and select electricians, plumbers, decorators and other necessary specialists.
• Contact contractors, coordinate visits to objects, demonstrate the scope of work and ask for estimates.
• Compare received offers, evaluate prices, scope of work, deadlines and reliability of contractors and provide recommendations for selection.
• Coordinate work deadlines, organize contractors' access to objects and coordinate their work.
• Order the necessary building materials, equipment and other tools, arrange for their delivery to objects.
• Monitor the progress of the work performed, check quality, record deficiencies and ensure that they are eliminated.
• Check the work performed before accepting it, collect the necessary documents and information about the costs incurred.
• Control repair budgets, coordinate larger expenses in advance and look for economical solutions.
• Maintain contact with users of facilities, promptly resolve emerging economic and technical problems.

We hope that you:

• Have practical experience in the field of repair, construction, building operation or maintenance.
• Understand basic electrical, plumbing, finishing and general repair work.
• Be able to assess the scope of repair work and understand what the cost of work and materials consists of.
• Know how to communicate with contractors, negotiate prices and look for the best price-quality ratio.
• Be independent, responsible, organized and result-oriented.
• Be able to plan your time, adhere to agreements and control several tasks at once.
• Know how to use a computer, e-mail and basic office programs.
• Have a category B driver's license.

• Ability to independently prepare bills of quantities or preliminary estimates for simple repair work.
