Nature of work
We are currently looking for a Risk Management Manager to join our team in Kaunas!

Your responsibilities:
Risk Portfolio Management
- Develop and continuously optimize credit approval strategies and decision-making systems (e.g., scorecards, segmentation, rule-based decision-making systems).
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance indicators (delays, loss levels, vintage curves, etc.).
- Develop (prepare requirements) and maintain reliable risk management dashboards, reports, and early warning systems.
- Identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, analytics, and debt collection teams to align risk initiatives with business strategy.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management and board stakeholders.
Model and Data Strategy
- Collaborate with the data analytics team to improve risk models (e.g. credit scoring).
- Utilize internal and external data sources to improve forecasting accuracy and customer insights.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Ensure risk policies are compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with audit and external regulators
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all credit policies and procedures.
Employee requirements
- Experience in credit risk management, preferably in fintech, consumer credit or payday lending businesses. Candidates from the banking sector are also considered.
- Knowledge of credit policy development, portfolio analysis and risk management systems
- Experience working with decision engines, scoring models and credit bureau data
- Knowledge of SQL and Excel (pivot tables) is required. Experience with Python or R would be an advantage, but not required for this position.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field
- Fluent in English
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
