We are looking for a modeling expert to join our team and contribute to financial risk assessment, scenario analysis and test preparation in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
You will be #closer every day and:
- participate in the process of identifying and assessing risk factors and provide suggestions for their modeling;
- analyze the structure, dynamics and quality of data used in risk measurement models, prepare conclusions and recommendations;
- in cooperation with other departments, improve existing and develop new risk models for risk assessment and analysis of the impact of adverse scenarios on the Bank’s operations and capital;
- develop and prepare models for assessing the impact of macroeconomic parameters on risk indicators and performance;
- participate together with the team in stress testing, assessing credit, climate (ESG) and other risks using statistical risk assessment models;
- analyze and interpret testing results, identify key risk factors and draw conclusions;
- prepare and maintain risk model documentation;
- consult and share knowledge with team members about risk modeling methods, best practices and applied solutions;
- ensure that risk models and related processes comply with legal, regulatory, internal policy and best practice requirements;
- contribute to the preparation of stress testing documentation and presentations;
- participate in improving the ICAAP, ILAAP and SREP processes by integrating risk assessment modeling.
To be #closer, you will need:
- a higher education in mathematics, economics, statistics or finance;
- good data analysis skills and the ability to work with large amounts of data;
- strong analytical, organizational and critical thinking skills;
- the ability to effectively plan work and present complex information in a clear and structured way;
- fluent oral and written knowledge of Lithuanian and English;
- good skills in working with PowerPoint and Word;
- experience in working with Excel, SQL, Python, R or other data analysis tools;
- willingness to learn and deepen knowledge in the field of bank risk management;
- ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
- experience in risk modeling, economics or finance will be considered an advantage;
- An additional advantage will be previous experience in ICAAP, ILAAP processes, stress testing, model validation or risk assessment in the financial sector.
