Vilnius - VG futura, MB
Future Robots installs and maintains autonomous cleaning robots for business customers. As the installed fleet of robots grows, we are looking for a technical person to help prepare the robots for work, install them at customer facilities, solve technical problems and ensure their smooth operation.

This is a position for someone who enjoys not only technology, but also the process of solving problems: understanding why a robot is not working as it should, finding the cause and eliminating it.

What are you going to do?

  • You will prepare, configure and launch autonomous robots at customer facilities.
  • You will perform preventive maintenance, fault diagnostics and repairs.
  • You will monitor the status of the robot fleet and resolve technical incidents.
  • You will analyze robot performance data and look for the causes of problems.
  • You will train customer employees to use robots.
  • I participated in demonstrations and installations of new robots.
  • I will test new models, software versions and functions.
  • If necessary, I communicate with manufacturers' technical support teams in English.

The work takes place both in our service center in Vilnius and at customer facilities in Vilnius and other cities in Lithuania.

What do we expect?

It is not necessary to be an expert in robotics. The most important thing is strong technical thinking, curiosity and the ability to solve problems independently.

We expect that:
  • you have a technical education or equivalent practical experience in electronics, mechatronics, automation, IT or a similar field;
  • you know how to work with electronics and mechanics in practice: diagnose faults, replace components, use tools;
  • you are not afraid of computers and new systems, have at least a basic understanding of Linux;
  • you are able to independently search for information and find out how an unknown system works;
  • you can read technical documentation and correspond in English;
  • you have a category B driver's license;
  • you know how to communicate clearly and professionally with customers;
  • you take responsibility for the result and can independently plan work at the facility.

It is a great advantage if
  • you have worked in the field of technical service, maintenance or equipment repair;
  • you have the basics of programming or scripting, for example, Python or C++;
  • understand the basics of IP networks and Wi-Fi;
  • have experience with robotics, automation, SLAM, LiDAR or autonomous navigation systems;
  • are interested in AI, computer vision and modern autonomous systems technologies.

Working with AI and robotics

We do not expect the candidate to be an AI researcher or programmer.

However, we do expect curiosity and a desire to understand how modern autonomous robots work. We will encourage the use of AI tools in daily work for technical information retrieval, diagnostics, documentation, and problem solving.

What do we offer?

  • Practical work with modern autonomous robots and rapidly developing technologies.
  • Manufacturer training and direct communication with international technology partners.
  • Opportunity to learn first-hand the principles of autonomous navigation, robotics, electronics and software.
  • A lot of autonomy and real influence on how we design Future Robots’ technical service and implementation processes.
  • Small team, short decision-making path and little bureaucracy.
  • Official transport for work trips.
  • All necessary tools for work: phone, computer, tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • 2,800–3,500 € gross monthly salary, depending on experience and technical competencies.

If you already have strong experience in autonomous technical service, automation or robotics, we can discuss the remuneration individually.

Who might this position be particularly suitable for?

A person who is more interested in opening a device, logging into the system, and figuring out a problem themselves than forwarding it to another department.

You don't need to know everything about robots today. What's more important is that you want to understand how they work and be able to systematically solve the problem when they don't work as they should.
