Farmer Relations Manager

Position overview

The Farmer Relations Manager will be responsible for building, maintaining and strengthening long-term relationships with participants in the Lithuanian agricultural supply chain - from farmers to processors, traders and other intermediaries. This position combines relationship management, a consultative approach, working with data, supporting partners and daily communication both online and in person in the fields.

Primary responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with Lithuanian agricultural supply chain participants participating in the InSoil carbon farming program.
  • Farm portfolio management: regular communication with farmers, providing assistance and consulting on the application of regenerative practices and the program itself.
  • Data collection and management: administration of data related to farm activities and program indicators, ensuring accurate monitoring and reporting.
  • Active development of InSoil partnerships with agricultural sector representatives throughout Lithuania (through meetings, sector events, social networks and recommendations).
  • Organization and joint leadership of online activities: preparation of webinars, consultations and profitability analyses together with a team of agronomists.
  • Participation in face-to-face meetings: visiting farms, participating in field days and other agricultural events.
  • CRM system maintenance: orderly filling in data and reporting on activities performed and goals achieved.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working in Lithuanian agricultural supply chain companies or directly with farmers (in sales, consulting, service provision, agronomy or similar fields).
  • Personal experience in agriculture or direct understanding of the farm environment and its daily life would be an ideal advantage.
  • Practical experience in the agricultural sector (education in the agricultural field is a big plus).
  • Fluent Lithuanian (necessary for daily communication with farmers); English is not mandatory, but will be considered an advantage when communicating within the team.
  • Strong teamwork skills, excellent communication skills and problem-solving-oriented thinking.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with farmers, explain complex topics in a simple and understandable way and accurately manage project data; sincere motivation to help farmers improve soil health.
  • Category B driver's license and readiness to travel to the fields throughout Lithuania.
