Coordinator of the ice cream department

Charity and support fund "Maisto bankas" is one of the largest non-governmental organizations in Lithuania. The main goal of our activity is to save as much edible food as possible from being thrown away and give it to those in need.
We are looking for team reinforcement who could develop the activities of "Maisto bankas" in the Šalčininkai section. This job offer is for those who are looking for meaning in their daily activities and are not afraid of challenges!

What will have to be done?

Plan the department's activities and implement them;
Organize the collection of expired food from supermarkets, its sorting and distribution to beneficiaries;
Control costs;
Involve volunteers in the department's activities, plan their working time, train them, coordinate their work;
Communicate with partners, donors and recipients, resolve issues;
To be actively involved in the activities of "Maisto bankas" and ongoing projects.

Workplace: Sodų st. 4, Šalčininkai

You are able to plan and implement your activities independently, but at the same time you feel good working in a team;
You work on a computer (Excel program);
You are able to organize your work and that of others;
You are flexible and quickly orient yourself in unexpected situations;
You like to communicate with people;
You own and drive a category B car.
