About us
EKSMA Optics manufactures precision optics and laser components that travel to more than 50 countries around the world. Our products are used in scientific research, medicine, defense and industry.
We are growing, so we are creating a new position in the commercial team - one that we have not had before. We are looking for someone who would do commercial work and at the same time change it: serve customers half the time, and automate the same work with AI tools the other half.
We are looking for someone with a technical or financial / economic education - the last year of studies is also suitable. Excel will definitely be needed, SQL or Python would be an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing, however, is common sense and a desire to find out. If you have done or automated something yourself, whether it is for work, for studies, or for yourself - be sure to tell us.
We are also waiting for students: we will combine the schedule with lectures, it is possible to start 0.5 full-time.

Nature of work
Half the time is spent on daily commercial work, the other half is spent on automating it with AI tools.
- You will be the main contact for the client – from the request to the paid and delivered order: offers, prices, terms, balances.
- You will track the progress of orders and payments, inform about delays, and handle complaints.
- You will manage customer and product data in systems (Salesforce, Euroskaita).
- You will look for places where the process is stuck or repetitive, and automate them – working with Claude and other AI tools.
- You will measure the result: how much faster we respond to the client, how many errors, how many hours are freed up.
Employee requirements
- Technical or financial/economics education (or final year of studies) – we also welcome students.
- Ability to see that something is being done illogically, and not to ignore it.
- Neat work with data: Excel will definitely be needed; SQL, Python or similar – an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Experience in making or automating something yourself (script, macro, n8n/Make script, AI tool workflow – for work, studies or for yourself). If you don’t have one yet, but you are interested and a quick learner – we also talk.
- English – B2 level, written and spoken.
