Primary responsibilities
- Analyze design, technical and tender documents (drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, customer requirements) and perform material and work quantity calculations.
- Prepare detailed estimates, pricing calculations and comparative tables for cost analysis.
- Submit inquiries, collect and technically evaluate supplier and subcontractor proposals.
- Collaborate with customers, designers, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors on scope of work and technical solutions.
- Contribute to the preparation of commercial proposals, tender applications and contract award phase, perform final cost checks and transfer information to project teams.
- Maintain cost databases, price lists and historical project cost records.
Position requirements
- Higher education in the field of engineering.
- Knowledge of construction processes and technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Work experience in preparing estimates, bills of quantities.
- Work experience with estimating programs would be an advantage (e.g. Astera, Sistella).
- Work experience with AutoCAD.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, orientation towards a quality result.
- Good command of English would be an advantage.
