We are looking for a CONSULTANT - TECHNOLOGIST to join us, who would contribute to Data Center, Shipbuilding and Industrial Electrical projects - from technical project evaluation and preparation of estimates to their implementation.
NATURE OF WORK:
- Technical assessment of projects, determination of scope and preparation of estimates (price proposals)
- Preparation of bills of quantities (specifications) of materials and works according to the design documentation
- Verification of technical documentation, coordination with designers and manufacturers and its preparation for execution of works
- Preparation of requests for suppliers and subcontractors, analysis and comparison of received proposals
- Control of actual work quantities and costs, adjustment of estimates during the project
- Checking the quality of work at the facility if necessary, assessment of compliance with the design and standards
- Close cooperation with project or work managers, engineers and other project participants throughout the project life cycle
- Providing proposals for optimizing technical solutions in order to reduce costs or improve the quality of solutions
- Assistance in the start-up and transfer stages of projects
WE HOPE THAT:
- You have a higher engineering education (preferably in electrical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field)
- You have work experience in preparing estimates and/or technological documentation in the field of electrical works
- You have experience with design, schematic drawing and estimate preparation programs (e.g. AutoCAD, Sistema, Astera or other analogues)
- You are able to read and interpret electrical/electronic diagrams, drawings and technological documentation
- You are familiar with production and installation processes, technological standards and quality control principles
- You have skills in calculating quantities of materials and work (bills) and preparing estimates, knowledge of project rationing and pricing principles
