Nature of work
Laumina buys and sells scrap metal. We are now reorganizing the warehouse work –
we are integrating weighing, balances, quality control and sorting into one system. We are soon
launching a sorting line.
The work will be twofold: part of the time you will coordinate the team, part of the time you will work together with them when needed.
We are looking for someone who would take the warehouse into their own hands and organize the work so that it runs smoothly without
constant reminders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
– You will receive and weigh the incoming scrap metal, check whether the quantity and quality correspond to
the documents.
– You will work as a forklift – loading, unloading, moving materials in the warehouse.
– You will organize sorting and separate sorted metal from unsorted.
– You will track the balances in the system and respond so that the numbers in the warehouse and in the program match.
– You will organize the work of other warehouse employees – who does what and by when.
– You will monitor order and safety: safety measures, fire safety requirements, cleanliness
in the territory.

Employee requirements
Required
– At least a few years of experience in a warehouse or similar work.
– Forklift driver's license and real experience working with it.
– Ability to work with a computer or tablet enough to enter balances. We will teach you the program, but you should not be afraid of the screen.
– Lithuanian. Russian for communication with carriers/workers
Advantage
– Experience in a scrap metal, secondary raw materials or construction materials warehouse.
– Experience in organizing the work of other people.
– Knowledge of weighing equipment or warehouse programs.
– At least a few years of experience in a warehouse or similar work.
– Forklift driver's license and real experience working with it.
