Nature of work

Charity and support fund "Food Bank" - one of the largest non-governmental organizations in Lithuania. The main goal of our activities is to save as much usable food as possible from being thrown away and to give it to those in need.

We are looking for a team member who could develop the activities of "Food Bank" in the Klaipėda branch. This job offer is intended for those who are looking for meaning in their daily activities and are not afraid of challenges!

"Food Bank" in Klaipėda is looking for a warehouse manager who:

  • organizes warehouse work (receiving and issuing received support, balance control);
  • weighs the received support and enters the data into the warehouse table;
  • distributes the received support to the programs implemented by "Food Bank": donation center, canteen, support for organizations.
  • organizes volunteer work in the warehouse;
  • organizes the delivery of support to the Klaipėda region;
  • transports food support as needed;
  • organizes the department's farm work;
  • is responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse;
  • maintains the "Maisto bankas" vehicles;
  • has the opportunity to get involved in various projects carried out by "Maisto bankas".

Place of work: Svajonės 33C -1, Klaipėda

We look forward to meeting you if you:

  • You have experience in warehousing and/or logistics;
  • You like to take the initiative and complete work from start to finish;
  • You are able to make decisions quickly and independently;
  • You are able to organize your own and others' work;
  • You work with a computer (MS Office, Google Apps);
  • You have a category B driver's license, strong driving skills and technical knowledge to organize the maintenance of a car farm.
