What will you need?
The warehouse in the MDS Terasa business is not just a place where goods are received, stored and issued. Sales, customer service, supply, accuracy of goods balances and the ability of the entire team to work smoothly directly depend on its work.
Therefore, we are looking for someone who would take responsibility for the warehouse activities: team, order, processes, accuracy of system data and results.
We have things that are not working, and places that need more order, clarity and control. We are not looking for someone who will just administer the current situation, but an economic manager who, with desire, intelligence, team and, when necessary, an example, will help to sort it out.
Therefore, we are looking for someone who would take responsibility for the warehouse activities: team, order, processes, accuracy of system data and results.

What are you going to do?
Your responsibility will be to ensure that warehouse activities are planned, work is distributed, and goods and information move correctly and on time.
Main tasks:

Main tasks:
- plan, organize and control daily warehouse activities;
- organize the receipt, storage, assembly and issuance of goods;
- ensure smooth unloading and loading of cargo;
- distribute work to the warehouse team and control their performance;
- develop employees, maintain work discipline and team communication;
- ensure order in the warehouse and clear arrangement of goods;
- control the correspondence of actual and system balances of goods;
- organize inventories and analyze identified discrepancies;
- ensure that documents and data are entered into the system on time and correctly;
- cooperate with supply, sales, accounting and other company departments;
- notice weak points in the process and propose/implement specific improvements.
In short, your task is to create a warehouse that the entire company can trust.

You should not accept the attitude: “this is not my problem”. Situations that were not planned constantly arise in the warehouse. It is important for us that in such cases a person does not limit himself to a letter or passing the problem to someone else, but starts looking for a solution.
We do not understand leadership as the distribution of tasks from the outside. We believe in the principle of “lead by example” – a manager sets the standard with his behavior, involvement and decisions made.

- Result orientation. Indicators improve when we measure, analyze and take specific actions.
- Responsibility for data. The balance in the system must correspond to reality. When a discrepancy is noticed, it is important not only to inform about it, but also to find out the reason.
- Team spirit and humanity. The warehouse manager will work with people every day. Normal communication, the ability to listen and talk, but at the same time maintaining clear requirements are important to us.
Experience. We expect that:
- have experience in warehouse, logistics or similar work;
- you have led a team or were responsible for organizing the work of other people;
- you understand the processes of receiving, storing, picking and issuing goods;
- you have worked with a warehouse or ERP management system;
- you are able to analyze information and use basic reporting tools;
- you are not afraid of a computer or practical warehouse issues.
- Forklift driving experience would be an advantage. Working with building materials, wood or long and non-standard goods - also.
