Main responsibilities:

  • Implement and contribute to the implementation of sanctions control principles and requirements in the company in accordance with the responsibilities of the I line of defense
  • Conduct an internal assessment of risks in the area of sanctions control in the company, help identify and implement assigned risk management measures according to competence
  • Provide expert assistance to the company's departments in integrating sanctions control measures into their processes, activities, operations
  • Conduct internal control of the implementation of sanctions control principles, requirements and risk management measures in the company's departments
  • Conduct an internal assessment of the quality of sanctions checks performed by the company's responsible employees and control checks of the checks performed by them
  • Increase the competence of employees in the area of sanctions control at the operational level according to the company's specifics, conduct an internal assessment of the competence of employees responsible for sanctions control, the implementation of its measures and the conduct of checks in this area
  • Conduct systematization of information related to sanctions compliance and control
  • Provide proposals, expert advice and recommendations for decision-making
  • Conduct functional cooperation according to competence and coordination of interests with related parties, to prepare or participate in the preparation of documents in the company
  • Cooperate with representatives of the LTG group of companies, participate in committees, commissions and working groups on sanctions control issues

What do we expect?

  • Higher university education or equivalent (preferably in the field of law)
  • Successful work experience in the areas of international sanctions compliance, money laundering and terrorist financing prevention, risk management and compliance or audit/control
  • Work experience in Lithuanian or foreign business enterprises, competent institutions, supervisory bodies or consulting companies (financial institution compliance, financial crime prevention, risk management departments, when the functions performed were directly related to the implementation of international sanctions (LR, EU, US- OFAC, etc.) or money laundering and terrorist financing prevention control measures) (an advantage)
  • International certificates – Association of Certified Sanctions Specialists (ACSS), International Compliance Association (ICA), Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) (advantage)
  • Good organizational, analytical, public speaking, communication, consulting, training, prevention and control skills
  • Values-oriented, results-oriented, teamwork, impartiality, objectivity and ethics, change management
  • Computer literacy, good skills in MS Office programs
  • Fluent Lithuanian, good English skills

Monthly salary: €3,200.00 - €4,800.00 (excluding taxes). The specific salary offered is based on work experience and competencies.
