SOLAR POWER PLANT AND BESS SYSTEMS ENGINEER | WORK IN ITALY

Our company specializes in large-scale solar power plant (Utility Scale PV) construction projects throughout Europe. We perform mechanical and electrical work on projects from 15 MW to 230 MW. One of our offices is located in Bulgaria, the other in Lithuania.

We perform mechanical and electrical work on projects from 15 MW to 230 MW, and we are also expanding our activities in the field of installation of battery energy storage systems (BESS).

We are currently inviting SOLAR POWER PLANT AND BESS SYSTEMS ENGINEERS to join our team to work on our projects in Italy.

Coordinate and technically supervise the installation of solar power plants and BESS systems at the construction site.

Analyze technical drawings, electrical diagrams (SLD), installation instructions and design specifications.

Supervise the installation of BESS containers, battery modules, racks, inverters (PCS) and auxiliary systems.

Coordinate the installation of AC/DC cables, connectors, grounding and other electrical systems.

Control the compliance of installation works with technical requirements, manufacturers' instructions and quality standards.

Provide technical assistance to construction teams, resolve technical issues arising during installation.

Participate in inspections, testing and commissioning processes of BESS systems, in cooperation with authorized specialists and equipment manufacturers.

Coordinate the elimination of identified technical discrepancies and perform repeated inspections.

Cooperate closely with the Site Manager on a daily basis, coordinate technical solutions, work priorities and progress.

Communicate with customer representatives, Project Manager, Construction Manager, equipment suppliers and other project participants.

Ensure compliance with technical, quality and work safety requirements in their area of responsibility.

Higher or higher education in electrical engineering, energy, automation or similar technical field.

At least 2 years of experience in solar power plants, BESS systems, power generation or industrial electrical equipment projects.

Good understanding of the operating principles of AC/DC electrical systems, inverters, cable connections and grounding systems.

Ability to read and analyze electrical diagrams, technical drawings, installation instructions and specifications.

Knowledge of BESS technologies, BMS, PCS, EMS and SCADA systems is a great advantage.

Experience in performing inspections, testing or commissioning of electrical equipment is an advantage.

Ability to independently solve technical issues and coordinate work with construction teams.

Ability to prepare technical reports and work with Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD and other technical programs.

Knowledge of English necessary for professional communication and analysis of technical documentation.

Knowledge of English or Russian is an advantage.

A valid category B driver's license.

In this position, close cooperation with the Site Manager, construction teams and the customer's technical specialists is particularly important, ensuring smooth implementation of the project.
