We offer you a challenge
- Based on the received requests, search for persons missing due to migration, natural disasters or military conflicts, in cooperation with the Red Crosses around the world and the International Committee of the Red Cross;
- Restore family ties through calls, Red Cross messages, in cooperation with the State Border Guard Service and other institutions;
- Visit and provide family ties restoration services in places of detention and accommodation of migrants;
- Consult foreigners on family reunification issues;
- Strengthen family ties restoration activities, in close cooperation with international partners;
- Publicize family ties restoration activities, integrate them into other Lithuanian Red Cross programs;
- Prepare and update family ties restoration training for Lithuanian Red Cross employees and volunteers;
We need you, if you will
- You sincerely want to contribute to the implementation of the Red Cross mission in Lithuania;
- You are studying or have graduated from social, political or humanitarian sciences;
- You are curious and constantly learning;
- You are very fluent in English (C1/C2 level) and Russian (B1/B2 level), (knowledge of other languages would be an advantage);
- You are characterized by empathy, result orientation, resourcefulness, initiative, courage to act, flexibility, tolerance, sensitivity to cultural differences;
- You are able to name the desired final result and set priorities, independently plan and organize your activities, solve problems and conflicts, and work in a team.
