Get ready to
- Take ownership of supplier invoices, payments, and AP/AR processes, ensuring accuracy and smooth execution.
- Lead account reconciliations (AP, AR, bank) and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Oversee daily bookkeeping and help organize the work of others when needed.
- Coordinate monthly closings and contribute to financial reporting and analysis.
- Support preparation of financial reports and ensure data reliability.
- Act as a go-to person for accounting-related questions within the team.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to financial institutions and tax authorities.
- Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations across entities.
- Help improve processes, bring structure, and make things work better over time.
We expect you to
- Solid accounting experience, ideally in a smaller or growing company environment.
- Experience with financial reporting and a good understanding of how numbers translate into business decisions.
- Some experience organizing work or supporting others in the team (not necessarily formal leadership).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work independently.
- Hands-on experience with Business Central (BC) - this is important for us.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Fluency in Lithuanian and English.
