IN THIS POSITION, YOU'LL
- Lead the design and development of various complex PCB assemblies (single-, multi-layer), including custom carrier boards for embedded computing platforms, complex signal conversion boards, specialized sensor interface boards with thermal management, high-power driver circuits, and advanced communication interface boards.
- Perform extensive testing, validation, and debugging of electronic hardware, ensuring compliance with design specifications and system requirements.
- Evaluate and implement optimal wiring and interconnect solutions, addressing signal integrity and power delivery challenges.
- Work with specialized electro-mechanical components and complex data transmission (mixed signals, high speed) systems, such as rotary electrical connectors (slip rings), solving associated data transfer and integration hurdles.
- Drive the full hardware development lifecycle, from detailed schematic capture and sophisticated PCB layout to prototyping, verification, and transition to manufacturing.
ABOUT YOU
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Significant experience in complex hardware design.
- Proficient with industry-standard EDA tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., Altium Designer or similar professional suites).
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, with practical experience in designing around ARM processors, particularly those from the STM family.
- A solid understanding of communication protocols and their hardware implementation is essential for effective routing and board design.
- Expertise includes strong fundamentals in power electronics, signal integrity, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC) considerations.
- Bonus: experience working with LVDS, SLVS, MIPI interfaces and know-how in bringing a product from prototype to production.
- Mindset and Communication: A proactive problem-solver with exceptional analytical skills, persistence, and the resilience to excel in a dynamic, high-tech environment. You are quick to learn, sharp in understanding new concepts, and highly priority-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced work setting.
