- UAB „Heston Airlines“
SENIOR LAWYER WILL:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer legal, corporate, and transactional documents (including contracts, agreements, policies, internal regulations, etc.);
- Provide legal advice and support across all business activities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
- Manage and oversee legal disputes, pre-litigation and litigation processes, liaising with external counsel where necessary;
- Identify, analyze, and assess legal risks and implications related to business operations, transactions, and strategic initiatives;
- Advise on regulatory compliance, data protection (GDPR), intellectual property rights, and corporate governance issues;
- Conduct compliance checks of customers, suppliers, and business partners to ensure adherence to applicable laws, international sanctions, export control regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) rules, and other compliance obligations;
- Assist in internal investigations and audits from a legal standpoint;
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving compliance, due diligence, and risk management frameworks;
- Handle ad-hoc legal assignments and special projects as assigned;
- Keep management abreast of new laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact the company’s activities;
- Prepare and deliver internal legal training to staff if necessary;
- Perform all other work-related duties arising from the nature of the position and the overall department objectives as directed by the Head of Legal.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO APPLY IF YOU HAVE:
- Excellent knowledge of verbal and written Lithuanian and English languages;
- Master's degree in Law;
- At least 6 years of experience in the field of commercial, corporate, and/or regulatory law, preferably in aviation;
- Strong analytical and drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently;
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills;
- Ability to manage confidential information with high discretion;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- High ethical standards and integrity;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word).
