In this position, you will:

• Development of complex optomechanical and mechanical solutions for laser systems - from idea and concept to proven, production-ready results.
• Working on product development and production automation projects, where independent engineering thinking, decision justification and evaluation of technical trade-offs are important.
• Ensuring the accuracy, stability and reliability of structures by combining engineering calculations, FEA/CFD numerical analysis, prototyping and experimental validation of solutions.
• Analysis and solution of non-standard technical problems in cooperation with mechanical, optical, electronic, programming, production and quality assurance teams.

The team expects from you:

• Education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or another related technical field
• At least 5 years of experience in developing complex systems in precision mechanics, optomechanics, mechatronics, manufacturing automation, space technology or similar high-tech fields.
• We will consider experience in developing engineering solutions that involve thermal management, optical component mounting, bonding or soldering processes, precise positioning, stability and repeatability as a great advantage.
• A deep understanding of engineering materials, accuracy, stability, tolerances, DFA/DFM and the impact of design decisions on the final system performance.
• Ability to constructively collaborate with the project team, realistically assess the scope of work, anticipate potential risks and take responsibility for the agreed results.
• Responsibility, engineering curiosity, attention to detail and a desire to constantly improve, share experience with the team and contribute to maintaining high technical standards.
