About the role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Kiona, you contribute through strong technical execution while also being a trusted, constructive team member. You’ll design and implement frontend features, modernise existing solutions, and take part in frontend architecture decisions and shaping technical direction within the team, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high quality results.
You’ll actively use AI tools and workflows and collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering colleagues to align technical work with product goals. Accessibility, performance, and reliability are treated as first class concerns in everything you build.
You’ll be part of a distributed development team working across Norway, Sweden, and Lithuania, in an international environment where English is the primary working language. You’ll also support and guide less experienced engineers and contribute to continuously improving development practices across the team.

- Has solid experience with React and modern frontend development;
- Is genuinely curious about using AI in software development, and already does so in practice;
- Is user-focused, pragmatic, and quality-minded;
- Communicates well across technical and non-technical roles;

- Enjoys helping others succeed and contributing to a healthy team dynamic.
