We are looking for a Product Certification and Compliance Engineer to join our growing team and be responsible for managing and overseeing all product certification processes for the company.
In this position, you will be responsible for product compliance with the requirements of the European Union and other markets, obtaining, maintaining and validating certificates. You will work with products such as energy storage systems (ESS), heat pumps, inverters, EV charging stations, BMS and EMS systems.
This is an important position that ensures that our products are safe, compliant with legislation and can be successfully supplied to various markets.

You will work with products such as energy storage systems (ESS), heat pumps, inverters, EV charging stations, BMS and EMS systems.

🔥 What will you do in this job?
- Organize and manage all product certification processes.
- Participate in the ECO (Engineering Change Order) process of products, ensuring compliance with existing certificates.
- Ensure product compliance with EU directives and regulations (LVD, EMC, RED, EcoDesign, etc.).
- Monitor the validity of certificates and ensure their timely renewal.
- Analyze applicable standards (EN, IEC) and their changes.
- Cooperate with testing laboratories, notified bodies and certification authorities.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation (Client documentation, Declaration, reports.
- Consult R&D and other teams on compliance requirements.
- Participate in the development process of new products ensuring the "compliance by design" principle.
- Ensure compliance of products with market requirements (e.g. KEYMARK, ZUM lists or other national requirements).
Advantages:
- Experience in the field of certification and quality or compliance of HVAC products.
- Experience with certification of heat pumps (EN 14511, EN 14825, KEYMARK).
- Experience with certification of batteries or energy storage systems (IEC 62619, UN 38.3, etc.).
- Experience with certification of EV charging stations or inverters.
- Second language proficiency (German, Italian).
- Understanding of quality management systems (ISO).

- Experience in product certification and communication with notified companies (laboratories).
- Responsibility, diligence and ability to manage several processes simultaneously.
- Ability to plan and foresee deadlines and possible risks in the long term.
- Analytical thinking and ability to understand technical aspects of products.
- Understanding of EU directives and standards (LVD, EMC, RED, etc.).
- Ability to work with technical documentation.
- Good knowledge of English (working with standards and international institutions).
