Service Project Manager

UAB "Vejusta" (UBsolar) provides comprehensive energy solutions - from the design and construction of high-power solar power plants to their operation, maintenance and service.
We operate in Lithuania and other European markets, and our team consists of more than 400 specialists.
We are expanding our service activities and representation of equipment manufacturers, therefore we are looking for a strong project manager with an electrical engineering education and a solid technical background.

Nature of work:

  • Manage equipment manufacturers' service projects from receiving the assignment to the final technical and financial completion of the project;
  • Coordinate the commissioning, testing and tuning of PV, BESS, central inverters and other power systems;
  • Manage manufacturers' technical and service requests, analyze problems and coordinate their resolution;
  • Work directly with equipment manufacturers, collect technical information necessary for the solution and ensure its proper transfer and implementation at the facility;
  • Delve into more complex technical problems, help engineers and technicians determine the direction of the solution and remove obstacles to the work;
  • Plan and coordinate the work of engineers, technicians and other necessary resources;
  • Organize preventive and corrective maintenance work;
  • Contribute to solving more complex issues of solar power plant operation and maintenance;
  • Manage project deadlines, budgets, contractual obligations and quality of work;
  • Assess project costs, revenues and profitability, plan and optimize work execution;
  • Administer the documentation of completed work, invoicing, reports and other project documentation;
  • Ensure fast, clear and proactive communication with the team, customers and equipment manufacturers;
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers and customers;
  • Participate in expanding the portfolio of represented manufacturers, service services, areas of activity and geographical markets.

What do we expect from you:

  • Higher or higher education in electrical engineering, power engineering, energy or related engineering;
  • Strong electrical engineering knowledge and ability to understand the operation of electrical equipment, diagrams, faults and the principles of their diagnosis and resolution;
  • Project management experience in power engineering, electrical engineering, equipment service or another related field;
  • Ability to quickly analyze the situation, make decisions and ensure their implementation;
  • Strong organizational, team coordination and resource planning skills;
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and technical problem-solving processes;
  • Good understanding of project budgets, costs, income and profitability management;
  • Fast, specific and proactive communication;
  • Fluent written and oral communication in English - you will work with international equipment manufacturers on a daily basis;
  • Knowledge of Lithuanian electrical safety requirements and principles of work organization in electrical installations, including the management of permits, orders, instructions and necessary documentation;
  • Ability to quickly understand and apply electrical safety, certification and work organization requirements of other countries;
  • Willingness to travel to facilities and business trips in Lithuania and abroad;
  • Category B driver's license.

Advantage

  • Experience working with PV systems, BESS, central inverters, transformers, switchboards or other electrical energy equipment;
  • We will also evaluate experience in equipment commissioning and tuning, service projects or working with international equipment manufacturers.
