Nature of work
We are looking for a parcel distribution team manager in Kaunas! Joining the largest parcel distribution terminal in the Baltics, you will be responsible for organizing the team's work and ensuring the smooth distribution process. In this position, you will lead a team of night shift parcel distributors and ensure that all processes - unloading, sorting and loading - are carried out on time, smoothly and efficiently.
- Plan, organize and control parcel distribution processes (unloading, sorting, loading).
- Ensure team work is completed on time and according to quality standards
- Resolve operational issues and ensure smooth operation of processes
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), provide suggestions for process improvement
- Create an open and effective culture of communication within the team and between team members
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety and internal regulations
- Cooperate with other departments
- Working hours: Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday 19:00-04:00
Employee requirements
- Experience in a supervisory role in logistics/warehousing/distribution
- Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks and solve problems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Good knowledge of Lithuanian and English
