Nature of work
- cooperate with and consult social workers who directly organize and coordinate the work of individual care workers;
- help social workers solve complex and non-standard situations that arise when providing social services to clients;
- communicate with clients and their family members, assess their situation, emerging needs and provide consulting assistance;
- prepare and update clients' individual annual social service plans;
- analyze clients' social situation and need for services, organize and participate in the reassessment of service needs;
- prepare draft decisions on the provision, suspension, renewal, change or termination of social services;
- prepare various reports, letters, decisions and other documents related to the provision of social services and their changes;
- provide methodological and consulting assistance to social workers;
- cooperate with employees, clients, their family members and other institutions in resolving issues related to the provision of social services;
- ensure proper preparation of documents, systematization of information and data administration;
- perform other tasks related to the functions of the position.
We hope you:
- you have a higher education qualification obtained after completing studies in the field of social work and a qualification degree in social sciences (professional bachelor, bachelor, master) (or an equivalent higher education qualification), or you have a higher education qualification and by 2014. December 31. you have acquired the qualification of a social worker or completed studies in social work, or you have completed training for the practical activities of a social worker in accordance with the procedure established by the Minister of Social Security and Labour;
- you have a category B driver's license;
- you are familiar with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts regulating the field of social security and social services;
- you are able to express your thoughts fluently and correctly orally and in writing, and you are familiar with the principles of document preparation, management and accounting;
- you know how to work with the Microsoft Office software package and use other information technologies;
- you are able to manage, accumulate, systematize and summarize information, draw conclusions, plan and organize your activities;
- you are able to communicate professionally with individuals from various social groups, listen, consult and accurately assess a person's social situation;
- you are able to make decisions independently, solve complex situations and take responsibility for your decisions;
- you are empathetic, responsible, organized and able to cooperate constructively with colleagues.
