Sous Chef/Deputy Chef

Courtyard by Marriott Vilnius City Center hotel restaurant is looking to strengthen the team.

Organize and supervise daily kitchen activities, ensuring smooth execution of work processes;
Ensure high food quality, adherence to recipes, portion control and presentation standards;
Coordinate food production for breakfast, business lunches, à la carte, banquets, events, room service and group orders;
Ensure effective product ordering, stock control, proper product storage, monitoring of expiration dates and inventory execution;
Lead the kitchen team, organize daily activities, ensure work quality, team development, motivation and adherence to established standards, within the scope of competence and responsibilities;
Participate in developing new dishes, improving recipes, forming menus and implementing culinary innovations;
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation and employee safety requirements;
Cooperate with other hotel departments to ensure the highest quality of guest service and smooth provision of services.

Work experience in similar positions is an advantage;
Be independent and demanding of yourself;
Knowledge and compliance with hygiene, health and safety standards;
Knowledge of technological processes;
Inventory management and maintenance;
Responsibility and ability to work in a team;
Willingness to learn and improve;
Work 5 days a week from 12:00 to 21:00, 2 days off.

Experience in an international environment;
