Specialist in the Group's Financial Markets Operations Department

Fixed-term 2-year contract

With us you will have the opportunity to:

• Monitor fixed-income primary and secondary securities (including derivatives) transactions concluded by Swedbank brokers, sales or treasury teams, and ensure their proper registration in the bank's internal systems.
• Participate in the process of sending transaction confirmations to ensure timely and correct settlement of fixed-income securities or derivatives transactions.
• Use your problem-solving skills,analyze and resolveissues related to securities transactions, discrepancies and other issues.
• Professionally communicate with clients and other parties to transactions, aimfor efficiency and ensurehigh quality of services.
• Actively collaborate with other specialists in this field: central securities depositories employees, group colleagues and other stakeholders, in case of discrepancies in the details of the transaction, or any other related issue, and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
• Actively contributeto continuous efficiency improvement, risk reduction and automation.
• Continuously improve your competence,learn from other colleagues,share your knowledge and experience.

We expect you to have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, finance or another related field.
• Strong English language skills (oral and written). Required, as all work communication is in English.
• Motivation and curiosity to learn new things - especially related to financial markets.
• General understanding of financial markets and their products.
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel and the ability to adapt to new software systems). VBA programming knowledge would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, positivity, and diligence.
• Initiative, efficiency, analytical thinking, attention to detail, responsible.
• Ability to work smoothly under tight deadlines.
• Work experience in the financial markets would be an advantage, but proper motivation, personal values, quick thinking and problem-solving skills are valued even more.

The Group Financial Markets Operations Department is part of C&I, providing and supporting financial product services to Swedbank customers. We are responsible for servicing Swedbank Group customers in the area of fixed income and credit products.

As the post-deal area is becoming increasingly important in the investment world due to ever-changing regulations and rules, our team members have the opportunity to continuously learn about the specifics of financial markets and financial instruments by interacting with various financial market participants.
