SPORTS COACH / INSTRUCTOR

Vilnius City Sports School “Sostinės tauras” invites sports specialists to join its team! We are looking for colleagues who are ready to conduct non-formal children's education (NFE) classes for children and youth groups.

Relevant sports qualification (coach, instructor, teacher) or the right to work in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.

Responsibility, leadership and the ability to maintain discipline using positive methods.

Good communication skills and the ability to independently organize group work.

Experience working with children is a great advantage.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, we offer two different positions:

1. Sports instructor

Essence of activity: organization and conduct of general physical activity classes.

Nature of work: organization of active games, development of coordination, flexibility and endurance, development of physical activity habits, creation of a safe and exciting environment.

Who is intended for: specialists who are able to interest children in active leisure without specializing in a specific sport.

2. Sports trainer

Essence of activity: conducting specialized training in sports cultivated by "Sostinės taurus".

Nature of work: methodical development of skills in the selected sport, tactical and technical training, preparation for competitions.

Sports: handball, volleyball, rugby, baseball, field hockey, badminton, table tennis, chess, checkers.

Planning of training and classes, taking into account the age of children (from 7 years old) and physical fitness.

Comprehensive development of general competencies (teamwork, discipline, respect).

Monitoring of student progress and supportive communication with parents (guardians).

Meaningful work in one of the largest sports education institutions in Vilnius.

Workload / remuneration: depends on the number of available groups, hours of classes and qualifications
