Nature of work

Currently, we are inviting a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Southern Regional Team of the Infrastructure Supervision Center in Alytus!

  • performing the duties of the Head of Construction Technical Supervision of newly constructed, reconstructed or overhauled 110 kV, 220 kV, 330 kV, 400 kV power transmission lines, transformer substations and switchgear structures;
  • submitting proposals for the technical tasks of designing newly constructed, reconstructed power transmission network objects, reviewing and coordinating projects for the production and installation of structural elements of objects;
  • managing the documentation of operated 110 kV, 330 kV, 400 kV power transmission lines, transformer substations, switchgear structures, industrial buildings and their engineering networks, managing operational work using the company's asset management information system;
  • planning the scope of technical maintenance and repair work of operated transmission network facilities, production buildings and their engineering infrastructure, calculating the need for funds, drawing up repair schedules, controlling the execution of repair work and accepting completed work.

Employee requirements

  • higher university education (construction engineering, building structures);
  • at least 3 years of experience in the organization of construction, repair work or technical supervision of construction;
  • qualification of a technical supervision manager for the construction of a special structure;
  • good knowledge of the requirements of the Law on Construction of the Republic of Lithuania and its by-laws (construction regulations);
  • knowledge of the composition of project documentation and the application of legal acts (including normative technical construction documents);
  • good computer skills (MS Office), good Project Professional skills;
  • driver's license;
  • communication skills, organization, responsibility, initiative.

Advantages:

  • knowledge of English, reading and speaking on professional topics.
