About the position
We are looking for a proactive and diligent team member who will contribute to the implementation of a construction project from the very beginning. This position will require coordinating contractor selections, analyzing proposals, monitoring procurement processes according to the project schedule, and collaborating with the construction team on day-to-day project implementation issues. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to grow in the field of construction project management, gain practical experience working on a high-value real estate project, and see the entire construction process from start to finish.
Primary responsibilities
- Organize tenders for the procurement of construction works, materials and services.
- Analyze design and technical documentation required for procurement.
- Collect, evaluate and compare commercial offers from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare comparative procurement analyses and provide recommendations.
- Coordinate the procurement process from the announcement of the tender to the conclusion of the contract.
- Prepare and administer contract and supply contracts.
- Administer documentation related to procurement and construction projects.
- Cooperate with project and construction managers, provide assistance in implementing the construction project.
- Check contractors' documents, acts of performed work and invoices.
- Perform other functions assigned to the position, related to the smooth implementation of the project.
Requirements
- Higher or higher education in civil engineering.
- Similar work experience in the field of construction project procurement or project management.
- Ability to read technical and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of construction technologies, materials and procurement processes.
- Good computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD).
- Analytical thinking, thoroughness and result orientation.
- Ability to work in a team and effectively plan one's work.
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian and good English.
