JOB DESCRIPTION
Coordinate and supervise construction, renovation and fit-out works in several countries where LUNVIO Group implements projects, providing support to project teams and ensuring that the works are carried out according to approved plans and meet the required standards of quality, safety, budget control and technical compliance. This position acts as a central authority on construction matters.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the execution of construction, renovation and interior installation works in all projects, ensuring quality, safety and compliance with approved plans and technical standards
- When necessary, travel to project sites to assess the work being carried out, its progress and quality and identify problems early
- Based on the actual circumstances at the site, provide practical insights and recommendations for necessary corrections
- Assist project teams in making technical decisions: advise on construction/renovation solutions, help resolve execution problems, risks and disputes, providing practical recommendations
- If necessary, prepare, review and approve construction budgets, estimates and scope of work
- If necessary, participate in the selection processes of contractors and subcontractors; evaluate proposals and technical solutions; assist in assessing the performance of contractors during execution and, if necessary, provide recommendations for corrections
- Review technical documentation and specifications from a construction perspective, identifying risks or deficiencies
- Ensure consistent application of construction standards and implementation of good practices across all projects, across countries
- Identify recurring technical and quality issues across projects and implement preventative measures to prevent their recurrence
- Share lessons learned and best practices with the team to improve the speed and quality of implementation over time
- Perform other construction-related tasks that may be reasonably required to ensure efficient project implementation and execution of works
