Kaunas Methodological STEAM Center operating on Science Island organizes activities in four specialized laboratories: Biology-Chemistry, Physics-Engineering, Robotics-IT and Smart City. Here, innovative STEAM educational programs are developed and implemented, teacher qualification improvement training is organized, national and international projects are carried out, laboratory activities are opened to all Science Island visitors on weekends and are focused on popularizing science to the public. Kaunas Methodological STEAM Center on Science Island is also part of the national Lithuanian STEAM Centers Education Network.
We are looking for a STEAM center manager who would be able to strategically plan and organize the center's activities, mobilize a team of specialists, ensure the quality of educational activities, and represent the "Science Island" STEAM center in developing cooperation with educational institutions, scientific and business organizations, and other partners in Lithuania and abroad.

Your main responsibilities:
- Strategic planning, organization, coordination and quality assurance of the STEAM center's activities, initiation of new areas of activity and services.
- Organization of the work of STEAM center specialists, promotion of professional development, preparation and coordination of the implementation of innovative STEAM educational programs: education, research activities, teacher qualification improvement training, non-formal education groups, science popularization activities for the public. Planning and providing the head of the institution with the need for financial, material, intellectual and other resources necessary for the center's activities,
- Initiation, organization, administration and management of national, regional and international projects and other events
- Development and representation of strategic partnerships, cooperation with schools, municipalities, other STEAM centers, scientific organizations and center partners in Lithuania and abroad.
- Ensuring safe and healthy conditions for the center's employees and visitors.Development of STEAM center services, search for potential service recipients and dissemination of information about the center's activities.
- Ensuring the processes and quality of the STEAM center's activities: analysis and monitoring of the center's performance results, improvement of operational processes, preparation and coordination of documents, agreements, contracts related to the center's activities, drawing up work schedules for STEAM center employees.
We hope you:
- You have at least a higher university education with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- You have at least 2 years of managerial experience.
- You have gained experience in preparing and implementing national or regional projects.
- You communicate and cooperate well, are able to mobilize a team and plan and organize its work.
- You are able to express your thoughts fluently in Lithuanian and English, both orally and in writing; English language level - at least B2.
- You are able to plan strategically, independently plan work, solve problems, manage time and constructively resolve conflict situations.
- You are characterized by responsibility, initiative, organization and orientation towards results.
