We invite you to join our team and offer you a challenge

  • Lead the Monitoring Department team, coordinate and supervise the work of employees, distribute tasks, set priorities and ensure the quality and consistency of activities;
  • Organize and supervise the monitoring process of detention, reception and other services and conditions provided to foreigners in accordance with established standards and methodologies;
  • Ensure that monitoring activities and their results are properly documented, systematized, analyzed, monitored and evaluated;
  • Analyze the information collected during monitoring, identify recurring and systemic problems in the areas of asylum, migration, reception and detention;
  • Prepare and submit reports, conclusions and recommendations on the monitoring results to the organization's management and external stakeholders;
  • Provide proposals for the improvement of monitoring methodologies, processes, services provided to foreigners, reception and detention conditions and advocacy of the organization;
  • Cooperate with state and municipal institutions, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and other partners in the areas of asylum, migration and human rights;
  • Represent the activities of the Monitoring Department inside and outside the organization, participate in meetings, working groups, consultations and conferences;

We need you, if you will

  • You have a higher education in law, social sciences or humanities;
  • You have at least two years of work experience in human rights, asylum, migration, monitoring or another related field;
  • You have experience in leading a team or coordinating the activities of specialists, delegating tasks and setting priorities;
  • You are able to think strategically and systematically, set operational goals, make decisions, develop team members and effectively organize team work;
  • You have a very good command of Lithuanian and English;
  • You are familiar with human rights, the legal status of foreigners, asylum and migration processes in Lithuania and the main national and European Union legal acts regulating these areas;
  • You are able to analyze qualitative and quantitative data, prepare reports, formulate conclusions and make proposals for improving processes and services;
  • You have a category B driver's license;
  • You are focused on the needs of those affected by the crisis, volunteers, supporters and the community;
  • You are characterized by empathy and respect for diversity;
  • You are independent, reliable and responsible;
  • You are characterized by flexibility and creativity in operating under uncertain conditions;
  • You are able to work in a team, collaborate, provide feedback.
