We invite you to join our team and offer you a challenge
- Monitor reception and detention conditions and asylum procedures, prepare reports and provide recommendations to state institutions;
- Develop a monitoring activity strategy and annual implementation plans;
- Implement the monitoring strategy: organize visits to border checkpoints and places of detention and accommodation of asylum seekers, units of the Migration Department;
- Identify and name challenges and their causes in reports, provide recommendations aimed at implementing change;
- Maintain dialogue with state institutions so that the recommendations provided are effectively implemented in practice;
- Diplomatically present the organization's position at events and meetings;
- Collect, accumulate and summarize statistical data.
We need you, if you will
- You have a higher education in law, political science, international relations;
- You are familiar with human rights and their protection;
- You speak Lithuanian, English and (or) Russian;
- Be able to work independently on a computer, MS Office package;
- You have a category B driver's license;
- You are oriented towards the needs of those affected by the crisis, volunteers, supporters and the community;
- You are characterized by empathy and respect for diversity;
- You are independent, reliable and responsible;
- You are characterized by flexibility and creativity when operating in uncertain conditions;
- You are able to work in a team, cooperate, provide feedback.
