GLASS STRUCTURE DESIGNER / CONSTRUCTOR

UAB "Stiklita" invites a glass construction designer / constructor to join the team, who is able to turn technical ideas into accurate, safe and ready-to-manufacture and installation solutions.

• Design of glass structures: interior partitions, shower cabins, doors, railings, canopies, terraces, glass-metal and other individual structures;
• Measurement of structures in objects and assessment of the current situation;
• Design and detailing of structural units;
• Selection of glass type, thickness, fittings, fastening elements and other materials;
• Preparation of production, detailing and installation drawings;
• Preparation of structures for production and installation;
• Selection and optimization of technological and structural solutions;
• Preparation of material sheets, technological cards, working projects and other technical documentation;
• Assessment of safety and technical suitability of structures according to competence;
• Collaboration with project managers, production and installation teams;
• Resolving technical issues during project implementation - from measurement to final installation at the facility.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Higher technical or engineering education;
• Education in civil engineering or structural design is a great advantage;
• Experience in structural design, construction or technical drawing;
• Good AutoCAD skills;
• Ability to independently read, prepare and analyze technical drawings;
• Understanding of structural assemblies and fastening principles;
• Ability to see not only the drawing, but also how the structure will be manufactured, transported and installed;
• Responsibility, accuracy, independence and constructive cooperation;
• Knowledge of STR, Eurocodes and other applicable technical requirements is an advantage;
• Knowledge of 3D design programs is an advantage.

Experience specifically in the field of glass structures is not necessary. If you have good engineering foundations, technical thinking and a desire to learn, you can learn the specifics of glass.

You will work with real and diverse projects and will be able to see their entire path - from idea and measurement to production and installed structure at the facility.

2700-3500 €/mon. gross
The specific salary is determined depending on the competencies, design experience and ability to independently solve technical issues.
