HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM SPECIALIST (FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Ignitis Group's Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHSE) program team. Your main responsibility will be to coordinate and implement OHSE programs and initiatives in the Group's companies in Lithuania and abroad, ensuring consistent implementation of the Group's standards, monitoring progress and strengthening the safety culture. You will contribute to the creation of a safe and green energy ecosystem:

• By developing and implementing OHSE programs in the Group's companies in Lithuania and abroad, ensuring that the programs comply with applicable legislation and the Group's standards, monitoring the program progress, performance indicators (KPIs) and implementation results;
• Preparing, organizing and conducting OH&S training, safety campaigns and other initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and safety culture in the Group's companies in Lithuania and abroad, ensuring that the material complies with applicable legislation, Group standards and good practices;
• Developing and implementing OH&S campaigns and safety initiatives to strengthen safety culture in the Group's companies, as well as communicating campaigns and promoting employee engagement;
• Preparing and updating OH&S and Environmental policies, standards, procedures and other internal documents, ensuring their compliance with legal requirements;
• Cooperating with different business units and Group companies, providing consultations on OH&S issues and contributing to the improvement of safety culture;
• Participating in internal audits, inspections, analyzing results and coordinating the implementation of corrective and preventive actions;
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of OH&S processes and risk management practices at the Group level.

• Higher university degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, environmental protection, risk management or related field;
• ISO 45001 internal auditor qualification;
• At least 6 years of experience in the field of occupational health, safety and environmental protection; experience in coordinating inter-organizational or cross-functional initiatives would be an advantage;
• Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian and English (B2 level) (oral and written);
• Strong project coordination, collaboration and stakeholder management skills;
• Analytical thinking, ability to work with data, performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports;
• Ability to independently plan activities, coordinate several initiatives simultaneously and ensure their implementation;
• Excellent skills in working with MS Office.

An advantage would be:

• ISO 14001 internal auditor qualification;
• NEBOSH certificate or diploma;
• Completed training in incident investigation methodologies;
• Experience in developing and implementing DSSA standards, programs or culture strengthening initiatives in large organizations;
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and risk management principles.

The employment contract is fixed-term for the period of parental leave, up to 1.5 years.

The fixed salary range for the position group is from EUR 3,430 to EUR 5,150 (excluding taxes). The specific salary is offered based on work experience and competence. A variable salary may be paid in addition to the salary.
