Nature of work:
- Ensuring compliance of the company's activities with the legal and tax regulations of foreign countries;
- Representing the company's interests and cooperating with foreign institutions, organizations and consultants, participating in audits and coordinating them;
- Monitoring changes in the legal and tax environment of foreign markets, identifying legal and tax consequences and risks related to expansion into new markets, providing recommendations and proposals for the development of the company;
- Legal project management, ensuring compliance of the company's activities with national and international legal requirements;
- Providing legal assistance and consultations to teams of finance, commerce, personnel, project management and other departments;
- Analysis and coordination of international taxation issues;
- Initiating and implementing solutions for streamlining, standardizing and automating tax processes.
We hope you:
- You have a university degree (or equivalent) in law;
- You have at least 2 years of work experience working with foreign markets;
- You are well-versed in the legal and tax systems of foreign countries (especially EU and EEA countries) and Lithuania;
- You have experience in resolving issues of permanent establishments, posting and taxation of employees, and cross-border transactions;
- You are fluent in English (at least B2 level), knowledge of Russian is an advantage;
- You are able to express your thoughts fluently and have excellent legal argumentation skills;
- You are proactive and motivated to resolve legal and tax issues in various jurisdictions.
