We are an international timber trading company, successfully operating in the European and Asian markets. We are currently expanding our network of raw (logs / sawn) hardwood timber suppliers in Western Europe, therefore we are looking for an ambitious and result-oriented supply manager.

We are an international timber trading company, successfully operating in the European and Asian markets. We are currently expanding our network of raw (logs / sawn) hardwood timber suppliers in Western Europe, therefore we are looking for an ambitious and result-oriented supply manager.
What are you going to do?
- Actively seek new suppliers of raw (logs/sawn) hardwood timber in Western Europe.
- Establish and develop long-term relationships with sawmills, forest owners and other partners.
- Negotiate prices, quantities, payment and delivery terms.
- Analyze the market, look for new supply opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Organize the entire purchasing process - from the first contact to a successfully completed transaction.
- Organize cargo logistics from the supplier's warehouse to the port of destination.
- Work with the sales, logistics and documentation team, ensuring smooth transaction implementation.
What do we expect?
- At least 2 years of successful B2B purchasing or sales experience.
- Excellent oral and written English skills (mandatory). English will be your main working language in daily communication with suppliers.
- Knowledge of German or French would be a great advantage.
- You are not afraid of actively searching for new partners, cold contacts and negotiations.
- You are able to independently plan your work and take responsibility for the result.
- You are proactive, result-oriented and able to make decisions.
- You like to travel and communicate with people.
- Experience in the wood sector would be an advantage, but the most important thing is commercial thinking, initiative and a desire to achieve high results.
