JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead the Technical Department of a modern factory under construction in Marijampolė: set goals, plan work, budget, shifts and competencies.
  • Represent the customer during the equipment commissioning phase: coordinate suppliers and contractors, supervise testing, acceptance, defect elimination and training.
  • Ensure the reliability and safe operation of production equipment, automation, energy management and infrastructure.
  • Create a preventive and predictive maintenance system; manage CMMS, failures, downtime and technical KPIs.
  • Manage spare parts, contractors, warranties and maintenance CAPEX/OPEX.
  • Ensure documentation, mandatory inspections, LOTO, DSS, fire and environmental requirements; report to the Executive Director.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL (-A)

  • Higher education in engineering (mechanical, electrical, automation, energy or related field).
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of technical maintenance of production equipment or engineering projects, including at least 3 years in leading a technical team.
  • Experience in coordinating the testing, commissioning and acceptance of new production lines or plants.
  • Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, automation and infrastructure; ability to read technical diagrams.
  • Experience in managing preventive maintenance, failures, KPIs, budget, spare parts and contractors.
  • Knowledge of the principles of DSS, LOTO, fire safety and safe operation of equipment.
  • Good knowledge of English (at least B2 level), good IT skills and a category B driver's license.

YOU WILL STAND OUT IF YOU HAVE THESE COMPETENCES

  • You have participated in the launch of a greenfield plant, wood industry or automated pressing lines.
  • You have experience working with CMMS / AllDevice, TPM, RCA, Lean or predictive maintenance methods.
  • You are familiar with the organization of the operation of a 17.5 MW biofuel boiler house, electricity utility (up to 35 kV) and potentially hazardous equipment.
  • You have a valid energy worker certificate or other qualifications relevant to technical responsibility.
