Technical Draftsman / Designer
UAB "Statometa" is looking for a technical draftsman / designer who would prepare drawings of fences, gates, wickets, railings and other metal products for production.
This is not remote work. The workplace is on the company premises, because the drawings are directly related to real production, project management and coordination of technical solutions with the team.
We are looking for someone who understands that a good drawing must be not only beautiful, but also clear for production, project managers and installers.
Nature of work
Preparation of drawings of fences, gates, wickets, railings and other metal products.
Preparation of production drawings.
Adjustment of drawings according to the dimensions of the objects, comments of project managers and the production team.
Preparation of technical solutions so that the product is easy to manufacture, assemble and install.
Calculation of material quantities according to the prepared drawings.
Collaboration with production manager, project managers, sales team and production staff.
Drawing of non-standard metal product solutions.
Management of drawings and technical documentation.

Ability to work with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp or similar programs.
Technical thinking and understanding of structures.
Understanding that a drawing must be adapted to production, not just visually beautiful.
Diligence, responsibility and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate with a team and understand technical notes.
Experience in metal fabrication, construction, furniture or structures is an advantage.
Advantages
