We are looking for a Technical Product Owner for heat pumps to join our growing R&D team and be responsible for product development.
In this position, you will be one of the key technical people connecting product vision, engineering solutions and practical product implementation. You will work together with mechanical, electronics, programming, and other teams. You will formulate technical requirements, plan product development with the team, and ensure that the products being developed are technically consistent, efficient, certified, and properly prepared for the market.
This is a very important position that requires systems thinking, planning skills, and technical understanding and the ability to see the product as a whole.
In this position, you will be one of the key technical people connecting product vision, engineering solutions and practical product implementation. You will work together with mechanical, electronics, programming, and other teams. You will formulate technical requirements, plan product development with the team, and ensure that the products being developed are technically consistent, efficient, certified, and properly prepared for the market.

🎯 Main responsibilities:
- Formulate and maintain technical product requirements for heat pump systems.
- Ensure writing of specifications and documentation for developed functionalities.
- Prepare and evaluate tasks (task refinement) with the product team, and plan the work plan for the future.
- Manage the list of planned tasks (task backlog) in an agile environment.
- Respond to changes during product development and manage them.
- Participate in the ECO (Engineering Change Order) process of products.
- Ensure compliance of the developed product with applicable standards and regulations.
- Analyze the impact of certification requirements on the product development process.
- Analyze the product architecture and subsystem interdependencies.
- Ensure clear and technically sound requirements for product teams.
- Assess the long-term consequences of architectural solutions for the product, production and service.
- Participate in the analysis and decision-making of technical problems.
- Collaborate with related teams (production, service, etc.) at a technical level.
- Contribute to the development of new product development strategies and technological solutions.
💼 What we expect from the candidate:
- Higher education in mechanics, thermal engineering, mechatronics or similar field.
- Experience working with technical products as a product owner (PO) or analyst.
- Experience in preparing technical requirements and specifications, and descriptions.
- Understanding the operation of heat pumps, HVAC systems.
- Understanding the interaction of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Ability to communicate technical requirements to different teams (mechanics, programmers, service, etc.)
- Ability to systematically evaluate complex technical solutions.
- Analytical thinking, responsibility and result orientation.
- Good knowledge of English for technical documentation and communication.
Advantages:
- Experience in the design and development of heat pumps or HVAC products.
- Knowledge of thermodynamics (understanding of the Carne cycle).
- Knowledge of standards related to heat pumps (EN 14511, EN 14825, KEYMARK).
- Second language proficiency (German, Italian).
